Chavurot

A Chavurah is a wonderful way to extend your family’s circle of friends and deepen your Jewish identity. Whether you are looking for a way to meet more congregants or participate more fully in Temple activities, joining a chavurah gives you the opportunity. Each chavurah is made up of roughly 8-12 TBO households and defines its own focus. Most meet regularly, usually on a monthly basis, often in one another’s homes, for a combination of activities – social gatherings, holiday celebrations, study, and social action. The choice of focus is up to each group and so is the option to plan outings, dinners, visits to exhibits or sporting events, attend Temple functions, lead worship services, and participate in mitzvah projects.

We have found over the years that these groups for 55+ are the most successful.  We will gladly accept applications from others, but with the caution that it may take some time to make a good workable match.
