On May 3 at 7:30 we will be meeting Marra B. Gad, author of The Color of Love: A Story of a Mixed-Race Jewish Girl.  The Color of Love is an unforgettable memoir about a biracial Jewish woman who, after fifteen years of estrangement from her racist great-aunt, helps bring her home when Alzheimer’s strikes.  The book is winner of the 2020 Midwest Book Award for Autobiography/Memoir.

We look forward to an enlightening discussion with Marra using a question and answer format.  As you read the book, we’d love to gather your question(s)!  Please submit all questions to Kim McConnell (kim@mymcconnell.com) no later than Monday, April 26th.

Before May 3, we will have four meetings to discuss the book.

We’re also offering an opportunity to read the book together.  We’ll have weekly check-ins prior to the event on May 3rd.  Here’s the check-in schedule…
