Rise Against Hunger meals are distributed through global partners that administer school feeding programs, orphanages, health clinics, vocational training and a much greater emphasis this year on responding to crisis.

We need your hearts, hands, enthusiasm and energy to build a community where everyone feels valued.  Join us as we work to build safe and affordable homes in the Old Poole Place  neighborhood in southeast Raleigh. REGISTER HERE!


    Sharing Life. Saving Lives...

9:00am-1:00pm, TBO Parking Lot, Ages 16+
Blood products are collected on a mobile unit at Temple Beth Or on Mitzvah Day. Phlebotomy team members are trained to help make the donors’ experience a pleasant one. Once the blood products are cleared and safe to be transported to Raleigh area hospitals, the blood is then transfused to local patients in need. REGISTER HERE FOR A DONATION TIME!  
*Must be 16 (with signed parental consent form) or 17+ years old



                    Donation Boxes will be in the lobby supporting:

    
Paper toiletries ((i.e. Paper towels (individually wrapped), toilet paper (2 to a pack))

 

   Collecting non-perishable food items on site.
                                      
Personal toiletries regular size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry sheets

    The Chicken Soup Project with Sisterhood: 9 volunteers will fill TBO's freezer.

                                         Collecting new and gently-used children's books for Book Harvest.

It’s a mitzvah to help others and we need your help!

We need a variety of volunteers to ensure a successful Mitzvah Day. 

All leaders will receive a free Mitzvah Day t-shirt!
